Checking for Rain at the 9th Annual Friends of the Ann Arbor Public Library Book Sale, May 1962
Caption: Was That A Raindrop? It was, indeed, but that didn't stop the Ninth Annual Book Fair from proceeding today on the porch of the Ann Arbor Public Library. One of the highlights was a show of yesterday's fashions. The ladies shown checking the weather were part of that show. In the foreground, with hands extended, are Mary Thrall (left) and Linda Prieskorn. Behind them (left to right) are Claudia Klaudt, Nancy Adams and Gail Zill. Fair proceeds will be used to underwrite printing the book, "Ann Arbor Yesterdays," by Lela Duff.
