Police Learn Self Defense: FBI agents from the Detroit office yesterday were instructors for a city police class in hand-to-hand fighting. Agents Martin A. McNerney and Paul A. Miller here demonstrate techniques for taking a gun from a suspect. yesterday's sessions, involving the whole department, are but one of the instruction schools for police personnel set up by Chief Casper M. Enkemann with the assistance of the FBI. After each demonstration, the officers practiced, under guidance, the technique outlined.
