A Kiss For A Miss Under This - Mistletoe, traditional symbol of holiday rejoicing which offers swains the interesting privilege of kissing any miss who stands beneath it, usually appears in Michigan only in small, cellophane-wrapped sprigs. The big clump pictured above, still growing on the "host" branch which was cut from an oak, was shipped to Ann Arbor from Tulsa, Okla., where weather conditions enable it to flourish in great profusion. Though mistletoe is a botanical parasite, it does not damage the trees on which it grows and its glossy evergreen leaves and waxy white berries suit it perfectly as a Christmas decoration. The plant was sent by Mr. and Mrs. William Lowe, former Ann Arborites, who live in Tulsa.
