Bright Colors Are Feature: Colors for the renovated dining room at Barton Hills Country Club were taken from the magnolia valances over the windows. The blue spruce background of the valances is carried out in the wall coloring. The chartreuse in the magnolias is matched by the traverse draperies. At the end of the dining room (not shown in the picture) is a large shadow-boxed mirror over the serving table. Each table in the room is centered by a planter hurricane lamp. The chairs have green leather seats. French doors previously divided the dining room. It now is one large room.
