Pioneer In Education - Junius E. Beal (right), who has contributed much to Ann Arbor's progress in education -- he served 20 years on the Board of Education and 32 years on the University Board of Regents -- last night had an opportunity to inspect the newest adjunct to the local school system, North Side School, at the dedication of the school. Mr. Beal, whose first term on the Board of Education started in 1886, is shown talking with Courtney Maulbetsch, a present member of the board.
