Carol Jean Smith Celebrates Leap Year Birthday, February 1956

These two cuties are busy celebrating their first birthdays today -- although they're each four years old. The explanation lies in the fact that both were born on Fe. 29, 1952, and that they haven't been able to observe a birthday on their actual birthdates from that day to this. Happy that Leap Year finally came along and made them "one year old" are Carol Jean Smith (left) of 201 Virginia Ave. and Mark Roos of 235 Murray Ave.
