NOW PRINTING THE DAILY NEWS - This huge Scott Hi-Speed Straight-Line Sextuple press today began its job of turning out this newspaper each week-day of the year. The press is of the Mezzanine type, and only part of it shows above the floor. The remainder is in the basement, where the rolls of paper are mounted on the sub-structure, the white sheets feeding through the floor into the rolling forms above.
