One Killed When Truck Hits Car: Gerald Keihl, 25, of 2613 Bellewood St., Darlington, was fatally injured about 7 a.m. today when a truck loaded with ten tons of material destined for the Willow Run Bomber Plant hit the car Keihl was driving at Stadium Blvd. and Packard St. The two vehicles are shown above. Meredith V. Gillam, 28, of 1529 Kimberly Rd., a passenger in the Keihl car, suffered internal injuries. The truck driver, John Barnett, 32, of Detroit was not injured. It was the second fatality at the intersection within a month.
