WILL BE MARRIED SOON
MISS JOAN ELIZABETH CAMP

Dr. and Mrs. Carl Dudley Camp of Forest Ave. announce the approaching marriage of their daughter, Joan Elizabeth, to Charles Edward DeBaker, jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Edward DeBaker of Fruitport. The wedding is to take place here on Aug. 17.
Miss Camp was graduated from Hathaway-Brown school in Cleveland, O., and attended the University. Mr. DeBaker received his bachelor’s degree in the college of literature in 1933 and his master’s degree last year. He is affiliated with Alpha Sigma Phi fraternity, and Michigamua and Sphinx honorary societies.
The news was made known at a tea and miscellaneous shower given yesterday afternoon by Miss Barbara Lorch at her home on Church St. Miss Lorch used garden flowers in variety for her table, and served informally. The other guests were Miss Fredericka Waldron, Miss Ann Edmunds, Miss Marjory Davis, Miss Margaret Cowie and Miss Emily Campbell.
