Funeral services will be held at 1:30 tomorrow afternoon at the Dolph funeral home for Mrs. Emily J. Sumner who died Wednesday at her home at 119 W. Kingsley St., following an illness of four weeks. Friends may call at the funeral home.
She was born Dec. 28, 1852, in Washtenaw county. She was the widow of the late Seth P. Sumner.
Of her 12 children, seven survive, Mrs. H. E. Olson of St. Louis, Mo., Mrs. Mabel Leach of Milwaukee, Mrs. Fannie Perkins of Ann Arbor, Mrs. Robert Williams of Detroit, James B. Sumner of St. Louis, Emmons G. Sumner, Ann Arbor and Mrs. Lottie S. Cook of Detroit. She is also survived by 25 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
Rev. E. C. Stellhorn will officiate at the funeral services and burial will be in Forest Hill cemetery. Pallbearers will be Theodore and Ralph Perkins, Samuel Morgan, James Sumner, jr., Lawrence Hart and Dwyer Straith.
