In offering Ann After residents an opportunity to participate in this relief project, the store management is co-operating with the world wide movement for war relief. Barrels will be provided in Kline's to receive the shoes and these will be sent to New York, where, in company with hundreds of other barrels of shoes from all over the United States, they will be shipped to England.
"Bring any and all of the shoes which you and your family may have cast aside because of style or wear or color," the management of Kline's invites. "They can all be used to good advantage. There is a great need for shoes for all ages and all sizes. This idea is spontaneous and a free expression of good will and interest in the welfare and comfort of human beings who are unable to help themselves through the coming rigors of winters.
