J. Fred Staeblers Observe Golden Anniversary
Members of two of Washtenaw county's pioneer families, Mr. and Mrs. J. Fred Staebler of Granger Ave., are having a celebration today of their golden wedding anniversary, which will be next Thursday. It was on Thanksgiving day, Nov. 27, 1890, that Mr. Staebler and Mary Steeb were married at the home of the latter's parents in Lodi township, by Rev. M. E. H. Hein, pastor of Zion Lutheran church, which the is church of both families.
