Bennett To Attend New York Meeting
Dean Wells I. Bennett of the University College of Architecture and Design, who received his appointment last week to the War Manpower Commission, will leave tonight for New York City to attend a committee meeting of the commission there tomorrow.
This is an advisory committee to Dr. Edward C. Elliott, chief of the professional and technical employment and training division. It will consider problems of education, both of students and of older men, for wartime service. Dean Bennett represents the American Institute of Architects, and the Association of Collegiate Schools of Architecture, of which he is president.
