Lucius L. Clarke, 91, died Sunday at his home, 923 Forest Ave., after a lingering illness.
He had served as manager and buyer for the Mack and Co., furniture department for 32 years before his retirement. He was a member of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church and of the Sons of the American Revolution.
He is survived by his wife, Eva Soule Clarke, and by three daughters, Mrs. Norman Moore of Lansing, Mrs. Ellis W. Test of Hinsdale, Ill., and Mrs. Henry Berger of Seattle, Wash., and by a son, Harry S. Clarke of Ann Arbor. There are 10 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at the Dolph funeral home with Rev. Henry Lewis officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hill cemetery.
