Miss Berthilda Schleyer, 70, of 328 S. Fourth Ave., a lifelong resident of Ann Arbor, died yesterday at St. Joseph's Mercy Hospital following a two-week illness.
She was born Oct. 12, 1884, a daughter of Frederick and Emile Yunke Schleyer. For a number of years she was employed as a bookkeeper with local firms.
She was a member of the Bethlehem Evangelical and Reformed Church. She is survived by one sister, Mrs. Lydia Paul of Ann Arbor, two nieces and two nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Muehlig Chapel, the Rev. Theodore R. Schmale officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after today.
