George Parker, Owner, Dies George G. Parker, 78, a prominent Ann Arbor township farmer died early this morning at te" eph's Mercy Hospital after a ef illness. Mr. Parker, born on the family farm at 4540 Geddes Rd. on Nov. 15, 1877, operated that farm and the Parker Mill all his adult years until his death. The scenic mill on Fleming Creek is a well- known landmark. He was a member of the Ann Arbor Farmers' Club. Surviving is his wife, the for- mer Grace Pettibone of Superior township. The couple celebrated their 53rd wedding anniversary in October. Also surviving are three sons, Everett G. at home and Dale and W. Lyman, both of Ann Arbor township; three daughters, Mrs. Harvey Sanderson, Mrs. Zina Bol- erx; and Mrs. George L. Geisen- fer, all of Ann Arbor town- ,1, and nine grandchildren.
