EXCAVATION FOR NEW LIBRARY: Work has begun on Ann Arbor's new Public Library which will rise on the site of the Beal property, S. Fifth Ave. and E. William St.
Completion date for the $715,417 project is next summer. The new library, a modern-design, two-floor structure, will be capable of storing 180,000 volumes.
