Mrs. T. L. Brown
Mrs. Clara V. Brown, 77, of 1600 Packard, died this morning at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital after a short illness.
She was born Jan. 1, 1887, in Jackson County, a daughter of John M. and Adele Center Gilmer. She was married to Theodore L. Brown on June 30, 1910. He died on April 25, 1950.
Mrs. Brown had been a resident of Ann Arbor since 1910. She was a graduate of Jackson High School, a member of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church and the West Side Women's Club. She was a former member of the Eastern Star.
Surviving are twin daughters, Mrs. Fred Arnet and Mrs. R. C. McDougall, both of Ann Arbor; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday at the Muehlig Chapel. The Rev. Henry Lewis will officiate. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the chapel.
