YPSILANTI - The 42-year-old principal of Willow Run High School was tarred and feathered last night at gunpoint by hooded men who stopped his car shortly after he left a Board of Education meeting between 9:30 and 10 p.m. for his home in Plymouth.
He was not seriously injured.
Dr. R. Wiley Brownlee, who has been principal of the school since last July, told state police a hooded driver forced his car off the road on Napier between Cherry Hill and Ford Rd., where a car was diagonally blocking the road on a lonely stretch near a bridge.
