U. S. Building
Site Expanded
By 2 Properties

Two more properties have
been included by the General
Services Administration in the
package of land assembled
for the site for the city's new
Federal Building.

Owners of the two proper-
ties, both large rooming
houses located at 326 and 322
S. Fifth Avenue, just behind
the Masonic Temple Building,
were notified by GSA this
week, said Morris Dalitz of
Dalitz Realty, who assembled
properties in that area in
cooperation with Maynard
and Kelley Newton of Keim
Realty.

The two property owners
are: Robert F. Schumacher
who owns 326 and Herman
Nessler who owns 322.

The recent action would
have the effect of squaring off
the parcel of land that the .
federal government wants for»
its new structure, ff

Earlier this year the owners
of the Varsity Laundry, Eber-
bach Building, Masonic Tem-
ple, and the houses at 31t S.
Fifth Ave. (formerly the br.
Gates Private Hospital) and
at 309 S. Fifth Ave. were noti-
fied by GSA that their prope.:-
ties were in the site selected
by the government.
