Trie Ann Arbor Annual Powwtow
will be held Saturday and Sunday
at the Huron High School gymnasi-
um, 2727 Fuller Road.

The powwow is sponsored by
U-M Native American Student As-
sociation^^ Ann Arbor Native
American Culture School.

Dancers from seven states and
Canada will perform in traditional
tribal dress, and artists and arti*
sans will i and sell tur-
quoise, siL<:i.»t,,'k, basketry, and
beadwork.

Danr-p contests will be held from

will begin with the "grand entry"
at 2 p.m. on March 26. Seven dif-
ferent drum groups, each com-
posed of six singers plus a head
drummer, are expected to partici-
pate in the ^v^nt

The powow is open to the public
with an admission charge of $2 for
