Parthenon bigger, better

After seven weeks of being c!'
remodeling, the Parthenon R . , m
reopened. Located on f "'iwest comer of
Ma _ Liberty streets in
downtown Ann Arbor, the
restaurant is owned by
brothers John and Steve
Gavas, who wan*-1"- look of
a cafe in the Gr ids.
They yanked or t drop
ceiling in favor i n -dginal
tin one, installed an Italian
marble bar, and then painted
the walls white and the ceiling
blue.

They also expanded their menu. It now includes
char-broiled lamb, Mediterranean egg fettuccine,
fried calamari, and vegetarian moussaka. The
restaurant also has a full bar now.
