Age 83, died November 26, 2007. Frederick was born April 27, 1924 in York Township, MI to the late Fred and Selma (Deidrich) Rowe. He graduated from Ann Arbor high school in 1942 and was employed by American Broach until drafted to the Army in Feb. 1943. He was part of the 82nd Airborne at Omaha Beach (D-Day) then went to Germany, and he returned home in 1946, then married Genevieve Spiess on June 26, 1948. Frederick was then employed by A&L Battery and U of M Mechanical Engineering Dept. where he retired in 1991. Preceded in death by his wife Genevieve on May 22, 2005 survived by son; David F (Luann) Rowe, grandsons; David F.L., Jeremy Jr., and Patrick A. Rowe and sister Selma Colony. Frederick liked to garden, was famous for his peony plants, and a member of the Bethlehem United Church of Christ. A Funeral Service will be held 1 p.m. Friday, November 30 at Muehlig Funeral Chapel with visitation Thursday from 5-8 p.m. Burial will follow at Bethlehem Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to National Parkinson Foundation, Inc. (1501 N.W. 9th Ave./Bob Hope Dr. Miami, FL 33136). Arrangements with Muehlig Funeral Chapel Ann Arbor.
