Mrs. N Butler and sod, of Detroit, are the gnehss of M. and Mrs. Charles Wilsou. O. A. Kelley and öaugbter attended the fuueral of Jaraes Kelley, in Detroit, Snüday. Prof. and Mis. C. M, Fnller kft Monday fot Lansiug. where they will visit friends. The Preebyterian chuich will indulge in a tree aud a musical program Christruas eve. Prof. and Mrs. Charles Carriok and ohildren are visifing in Dnudee at Mr. and Mrs. Slayton's. The sleighing and skating are fine and the people are having a jolly time taking advantage of it. The M. E. society will have a fine program arch aud gates ajar at their ohuroh Christmas eve. Mrs. Will Gay and daughter have returned from a six weeks' visit with friends in Grand Rapids, Wis. Cards are ont annonnoing the marriuge of Mr. Win, Sissem and Miss Maggie Barnes Christmas night. Tbe Baptist society will give tbeir Snnday school a treat in the way of a tree and an intereeting program. Mrs. Menzie, of Niágara Palls, and Mrs. Menzie, of Chicago, will spend the winter with Dr. and Mrs. Pyle. Mrs. W. F. Allen and Miss Ida Allen spent Wednesday in Ann Arbor looking over the beautiful Christmas gifts. Miss SnsieKnight retnrned from Olivet College Tnesday morning. Sbe will spend two weeks witb relatives here. P. B. P. Williams, from the west} gave an espose of Free Masonry at the Union church Monday and Tnesday evening. The Milan readers of the Argns wish to send a Christmas greeting in the way of good wishes to tbe Ann Arbor Arsus staff. The yooDg people indulged ia an im.promptn hop at the I. O. O. F. parlors a few evenings ago and all had a very enjoyable time. The I O O F, eleoted the following officeis at their last meetiug: N G.
