Want to learn to sew but are nervous about buying a machine and learning on your own? Come use ours and we’ll show you how!
We’ll have our lab’s machines set up and staff will be on hand will show you the basics, such as bobbin winding, needle threading, and practicing your stitches. All skill levels are welcome, no prior knowledge is necessary.
Or, do you already know how to sew and want to hang out, too? Bring a UFO (an unfinished object that you’ve been meaning to work on) with you. Use our machines or bring your own for an evening of community sewing!
This event will be repeated on Thursday, May 19 from 7:00 – 8:30 pm in the Downtown Library Secret Lab.
