Description
Bird Hills Nature Area is the largest park in Ann Arbor and a haven for hikers. It contains mesic forest, old field, wet forest, and emergent marsh ecosystems.
We will meet at the Newport Road entrance to Bird Hills, just north of M-14. Wear comfortable shoes and bring water and bug spray if desired.
This nature walk is part of a collaboration between AADL and the City of Ann Arbor's Natural Area Preservation and is one of seven nature walks taking place at parks around the city over the course of the spring and summer.
