Description

Anxiety and stress are normal parts of life, though excessive anxiety causes needless suffering and can prevent one from achieving their potential.

This program will provide information about the underlying causes of anxiety within biological, psychological, and social contexts. Participants will learn about evidence-based, cognitive behavioral strategies to decrease physiological arousal, improve sleep, manage self-defeating thinking, and to keep the mind focused and under control. The skills learned in this program are basic steps to leading a healthier, balanced life in the face of anxiety.

Donald Zaksek, Psy.D., L.P., from Integrative Psychology of Ann Arbor, is a licensed psychologist with expertise in cognitive behavioral therapy.
