Leo A. Fredette. former mayor of East Ann Arbor before it was incorporated into Ann Arbor, died Wednesday in Browns,-B ville, Tex., where he was spendl-B ing the winter, at the age of 76 A resident of the Ann Arboill area for some 44 years, Mr.B Fredette, of 3344 Springbrook operated the East Ann Arbor Electric Co. until his retiremen 16 years ago. f,j He was elected mayor of EastB ,Ann Arbor in 1953, and alsoH served as past master of AnnH Arbor Lodge No. 544 F&AM, past president of the Tourist Association of Brownsville, Tex., and member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church. Born in 1894 in Bay City, Mr. Fredette married Rita Rhodes in 1915. She died in 1953, and 11 years later, he wed Agnes Hinz who survives him. Also surviving are his son.l Arlie Fredette of Ann Arbor; two daughters, Mrs. Yola Wardjl of Farmüigton and Mrs. Jessie steers of Ypsilanti; five children; seven dren; three sisters and a brother. I Funeral services will be held sunday at 2 p.m. from the tana Funeral Home, 2400 penter Rd., with the Rev. ard I. Preis of the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church officiating. A Masonic memorial will be conducted at the funeral home saturday at 8 p.m. by the Ann Arbor Lodge No. 544 F&AM. Private burial will be Monday at Roseland Park Cemetery in Berkley.
