inn Arbtf city crews are in the process of converting ing meters to refleet new rates approved last month, and residents are advised that meters will no longer give time for pennies. Some citizens have depositea pennies in the meters and found that although accepting the coins no time is recorded. The Traffic Engineering and Transportation Department asks residents to read instructions on all meters carefully before depositing any coins. Meter conversions have already taken place in parts of the city and many require new coin combinations. All meters will be converted by Aug. 15. Hourly rates are 20 cents per hour compared to the oíd 10cent-an-hour rate.
