Evening Buffet: When the garden division of the Woman's Club of Ann Arbor met yesterday with Mrs. Harry R. Shipman of Shipman Circle, four women participated in a table setting contest. Mrs. Henry Kievit took first prize with her evening buffet. She used silver Yule decorations as a contrast to blue dishes, table cloth, napkins and other accessories. Mrs. Roswell Dillon and Mrs. Howard Lippert also entered their tables.

Christmas Tea: One of the runners-up in the table setting contest was Mrs. Leslie Rittershofer whose dainty tea table combined the religious theme (a statue of the madonna at right) with decorative yule tea cookies. After the contest the women held an auction to benefit Girlstown in Belleville.
