The Dean Alice Lloyd Memorial for atomic research in cancer, a part of the Michigan Phoenix Project, was discussed at a meeting of the memorial's steering committee yesterday afternoon in the Michigan League. Seated above (left to right) are Mrs. John S. Tennant of Summit, N.J., Mrs. Alexander G. Ruthven, honorary chairman of the Lloyd Memorial, and Miss Hilda Kirby of New York City. Mrs. Tennant and Miss Kirby are co-chairmen of the memorial project. Standing are Mrs. A. C. Furstenberg (left) of Coplye Ave. and Mrs. Peter J. Van Boven of Highland Rd., local members of the steering committee which is composed of 61 alumnae and friends of Miss Lloyd.
