Kiera and dozens of other youngsters were on hand for the Toy Fair at the Jewish Community Center in Ann Arbor Wednesday. Exhibitors and sales people from various stores offered their holiday wares which included Hanukkah decorations. Benefits from the toy sale help support the Jewish Community Center.

Pitching into the March of Dimes campaign in an earnest way are these eight Pittsfield Village youngsters who solicit empty soft drink bottles from neighborhood residents, sell the bottles, and turn over the receipts to drive officials. So far the group has collected $7. The bottle volunteers (left to right) are Thomas Fetters (kneeling at wagon) of 3417 Edgewood Ave.; Katherine Gaines of 3518 Edgewood; John Hedetmimi of 2403 Pittsfield Blvd.; Richard Draper of 2551 Fernwood Ave.; Pat Rumer of 3456 Richard Ave.; Brian Brewer of 3333 Edgewood; Susan Whipple of 2410 Pittsfield Blvd. The official polio drive ends Feb. 1.
