'Lumberjack' Lions Club Collect For Salvation Army, December 1947

These members of the local Lions Club donned false whiskers and lumberjack outfits in an effort to "haul in the jack" for the benefit of the Salvation Army Christmas fund last night. A total of $266 was collected in the Main St. area by 20 volunteers from the service group. Holding the variety of pots and pans for a gift from an unidentified small boy are (left to right) John Alexander, Donald Brown and Ronald McDougall.
