Barton Hills Home: This home owned by Dr. and Mrs. C. Howard Ross is at 180 Underdown Rd., in Barton Hills. The house, constructed in 1941, is of composite southern colonial style. It was built on a site which the doctor spent four years landscaping after he has selected the place for it. Dr. Ross and his wife compiled a 1,000-page scrapbook on the features they would like included in the house.

Four hundred and fifty eggs, 600 cups of coffee and 20 to 40 pounds of meat are just a few ingredients for his home-cooked breakfasts for members of the University's Medical School which have become an annual event in Ann Arbor.
