BILL KNAPP'S RESTAURANT: This is the main dining room of the new Bill Knapp's Restaurant which opened this week at 2501 Jackson Rd. This dining room and two other smaller ones seat up to 155 persons. The restaurant is one of seven owned in the state by the Knapp firm. It has an unique educational program for employes.

Bill Knapp's Michigan, Inc., opened a new, $250,000 restaurant this week on Carpenter Rd. south of Washtenaw Rd. One of several dining areas is shown. Forty-eight persons are employed at the 165-seat facility, the second one operated by Bill Knapp's in the area. Co-managers of the new restaurant - the firm's 12th one in Michigan - are Jerry F. Powers of 444 Evergreen and Raymond Roach of 3341 Packard.
