Painters At The Theatre: Among invited guests coming to view the performance of the visiting artists on stage at the Mendelssohn Theatre yesterday evening were prominent Ann Arbor painters. Chatting in the lobby before the performance of "Tiny Alice" were (from left) Mr. and Mrs. Richard Wilt of West Ridge Road and Mr. and Mrs. Milton Kemnitz of Bird Road. Mr. Wilt is professor of art at the University. Mr. Kemnitz is the illustrator of the recently published "Michigan Memories." The visiting theatrical company brings to this city a sampling of the conservatory theatre which is popular in Europe. Rather than working on a strictly production basis, the company provides continuous development and training for its participants. Study classes are in varied form and each participant brings to the conservatory from his individual background, perception and artistic experience, knowledge to share with other participants.
