In the above photograph a patient is being lowered into the water under the supervision of Dr. Carl E. Badgley, while members of the Washtenaw county committee in charge of the campaign to raise funds for the war on the disease look on. In the picture, left to right, are Dr. Badgley, Mrs. Cyrus C.
