WAIT TO SEE PRESIDENT: Many persons lined up early this morning outside the Michigan Stadium to await admission to see President Lyndon B. Johnson and hear him give the address for the University commencement. The President arrived by helicopter outside at 9:54 a.m., precisely at the time he was scheduled to arrive from Detroit Metropolitan Airport. He rode in one of four helicopters used to provide trip security.

After speaking to the national convention of home economists, the First Lady left for Mackinac Island, where she will rest before meeting President Johnson in Detroit Friday.
