Carol Dascola (center) will be queen of next weekend's homecoming at St. Thomas High School. Entitled "The Sounds of Music'," activities will include a semi-formal dance and crowning of the queen Friday, and evening bonfire Saturday and football game at 2 p.m. Sunday. Each grade at St. Thomas selected its own queen attendant. There are (left to right) Patricia Boone, freshman; Sheryl O'Mara, junior; Miss Dascola; Suzanne Chenoweth, senior; and Pam Kasper, sophomore. The football game at Hollway Field will match the Irish and River Rouge Lourdes.

Look-Out Aggies: Ready for battle with Redford St. Agatha and hoping to get St. Thomas its first victory of the season are (left to right) Mike Darr, Francis O'Donnell (this photo) and Cliff Eckel. Darr has advanced to the No. 1 quarterback spot. O'Donnell is a tough middle guard. Eckel, switching from the backfield to the line, expects to see action at center for the first time this season. All will see action in Sunday's game here.
