Eases Patient's Return - Making as easy as possible the transition from hospital to home for polio patients is one of the many jobs of Miss Ruth Locher (left), University Hospital supervisor of social services. Here she visits the home of James Roelofs, 7, (on floor), who came home this week after an attack of paralytic polio. Others in the picture are his mother, Mrs. Marie Roelofs (center) and his sister, Pat. The Roelofs live at 31 Tappan Ct. Half of Miss Locher's salary is paid by the National Foundation for Infantile Paralysis, which is currently conducting an emergency fund drive.
