Sells First Ticket: Johnny Joe Scofield, 5, a polio patient at the University Hospital, sells the first ticket for the JCC Auxiliary benefit fashion show to Mrs. Harlan H. Hatcher, wife of the University president. Funds raised from the show are to be given to the National Foundation for Infantile Paralysis. The show is slated for March 9 in Pattengill Auditorium.

Both were stricken with polio in 1954, and both were confined to iron lungs. They are shown here with money and tickets to the dinner for polio to be held from 5:30 to 8 p.m. tomorrow at the Veterans of Foreign Wars Home. The affair has been designated the Scofield Dinner.
