Girl Scouts Provide Bedding For Santa's Doll Cribs - The six Girl Scouts in the semi-circle around the doll cradle represent the efforts of some 70 Ann Arbor scouts, in addition to troops from Ypsilanti and Milan, to supply bedding for the doll cribs made by Albert Warnhoff, Ann Arbor's Santa Claus. Together, the scouts have sewn and stitched their way through a mattress, blanket, spread, two sheets, two pillows and two pillow cases (embroidered) for each of Warnhoff's 160 cradles. Their handiwork will be delivered today, and the cradles, complete with bedding, will be distributed to Ann Arbor children as Christmas gifts. Pictured here, from the left, are Joyce Aprill, Sharon Fike, Jackie Haas, Patty Kappler, Lois Hawks, and Oneda Sutfin. All are of Bach School's Troop 59, one of the participating units. They're working in the home of Mrs. Hector Haas, 917 Sybil St., who, with Mrs. William Fike, are the troop leaders.
