'Pentagons': A new mark on the Ann Arbor skyline stands out against winter-bare trees in this telephot shot of Lurie Terrace, taken from the seventh floor of the Ann Arbor trust Building. Concrete pouring has been completed on the top floors of the twin eight-story, pentagon-shaped towers of the Senior Citizens housing project, located at W. Huron and Chapin Sts. within easy walking distance of downtown. The building, scheduled for completion in September, will include 143 apartments designed for persons 62 and older, a dining room and men's club on the upper level and a wide variety of special-purpose rooms devoted to hobbies and recreation. Senior Citizens of Ann Arbor, Inc. will operate it.
