It was with a joyful exclamation that Mrs. Michael H. (Carol) Wallace of 2865 Packard greeted our request that she pose with son John, 8, to help illustrate our "Mother of the Year" contest. John wrote: "My mom has five kids. She love best the one who needs her most. We all need her." He added a postscript that "every mom is mom of the year."
