Near Interception. Two Lansing Eastern defensive backs, Art Couthen (40) and Harry Brown (30), nearly intercept a Pioneer High pass in the second quarter. Rushing in on the play are Pioneer fullback Bill Malcolm (80) as does Marc Kruger (27) of the Quakers. The Pioneers were defeated in the Six-A League contest at Hollway Field.
