Pioneer High School students Mark Edwards (left front)) and Mike Jones are shown here planting one of the approximately 20 trees presented to the high school yesterday as a "Living Memorial" to the 1919 graduating class of Ann Arbor High School. The trees have been planted near the main entrance driveway off Stadium Blvd., together with a granite marker inscribed by the 1919 class. The trees were planted by members of the conservation classes at Pioneer. In the background are three of the graduates of 1919. They are (from left) Hudson T. Morton, Mrs. Leonard W. Wing and Ralph W. Muncy. The tree being planted is a witch hazel.
