Proposed Fill Site: This is the site of the proposed sanitary fill, suggested by Ann Arbor city officials, in Pittsfield township. Platt Rd. extends along the top, and Ellsworth Rd. runs down the left side. A dump is shown at the intersection, while the light area is gravel. The Pittsfield Township Board will discuss the proposal tonight.

New Southbelt Bypass: Almost completed now is the new extension of the Willow Run Expressway which bypasses Ann Arbor on the South. This picture shows the eastern extremity of the bypass, connecting with the Willow Run Expressway at US-23 (extending horizontally across the picture). The new highway extends northwestward toward the top of the picture with the new Platt Rd. overpass and subdivision developments southeast of Ann Arbor also shown.
