New Plane Attracts the Curious: One of the biggest drawing points of yesterday's air show at Willow Run airport was the brand new Martin 202, soon to be delivered to Northwest Airlines. The 40-passenger craft, which travels at speeds up to 296 miles per hour, came direct from the Martin plant at Baltimore.

As P-80 Pilot Alights: Lt. Arthur Murray, 28, of Wright Field, O., is shown alighting from the P-80 jet fighter he piloted yesterday from Montreal to Willow Run in two hours and 10 minutes. Murray brought with him a message to University of Michigan President Alexander G. Ruthven from Mayor Camillien Houde of Montreal. The P-80's flight was a feature of the University's dedication of Willow Run airport.

Vigil for P-80 Rewarded: Hundreds of spectators at Willow Run yesterday braved frigid winds for more than an hour as they awaited the arrival of an Army P-80 jet fighter from Montreal. Due in at 4 o'clock, the plane finally streaked over the field at 5:05. The same winds that had chilled spectators had slowed the Shooting Star, piloted by Lt. Arthur Murray. Behind the P-80 and dwarfing the little jet plane with its hugeness is an Army B-29, another plane on exhibition at the air show held in connection with the University of Michigan's dedication of the airport.
