The Tip Of The Iceberg - These 20 or so persons are preceded by about 50 others who are indoors waiting to buy license tabs Monday at the Secretary of State at 25 N. Washington, Ypsilanti. Today the lineup was somewhat shorter - about 50 people at any one time, all of whom could squeeze inside the office, said Marilyn Enners, of the office staff. At the office on West Stadium Blvd. in Ann Arbor, only about five persons were waiting at any particular moment today, compared to about 25 yesterday, said Betty Lawrence, manager. At the Church Street office in Ann Arbor, bigger crowds were in line, reported Margaret Merryfield. About 30-35 persons were waiting most of the time Monday. Today the total was down to 15 or so. The deadline for buying the tabs was last Friday.
