DORMITORY FOR HOSTESSES: These three girls are chatting in one of the several dormitory rooms provided at the terminal by the airport management company. (Left) Miss Helen Otto, 115 Grove St., Ypsilanti, a terminal employe; Miss Jane Horton, of Milwaukee, Wis., a hostess for Capital Airlines and Miss John Potts, of Belleville, another terminal employe. Similar facilities are provided for male personnel in another part of the building.

GIANT DC-4 TAKES ON PASSENGERS: The size of the planes Capital Airlines-PCA lands at Willow Run airport on its new schedule begun on Saturday may be judged from this photograph taken when the first stop and takeoff were made. The airline has set up a waiting room in No. 1 hangar and has an experienced ground crew on hand to service the huge liners. Other lines may begin using the airport soon.

FIRST PASSENGERS LAND AT WILLOW RUN: Regular airline service was inaugurated at Willow Run airport Saturday when a Capital Airlines-PCA plane discharged and took on passengers on schedule. First to disembark were Seaman 3/c Eleanor Bennett, who is stationed at Hutchinson, Kansas, and Maurice J. Pastor of Detroit.

FATHER GREETS FAMILY AT WILLOW RUN: The first DC-4 to land on a regularly scheduled run at Willow Run Airport produced this scene when a mother and child were met by the father as the passengers left the plane. More than 50 persons were travelling on the plane which arrived from Washington. D. C., and went on to Milwaukee. The airport was recently leased to the University by the government and airlines may use the port by arrangement with the school.
